The Department of Business Studies started in the year 2010. BBA is a bachelor degree course in business administration. This degree aims at providing fundamental education in business and management principles. The BBA program teaches the students with various aspects that are necessary for effective business management and supports them to achieve a winning career in the field of business. The objective of the programme is to train the students for acquiring good communication, interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills. This course helps to develop the student’s personality as a whole to become tomorrow’s competent professionals.
BBA is a 3 year degree course consisting of 6 semesters. The essentials of the course consist of classroom learning, case studies, seminars, workshops, debates, industrial visits, project works etc. We conducted 3 industrial visits this year. During the project, students have to spend one month in a well known organisation where they will get exposed to real time management strategies and techniques. This time students will improve their analytical and interpretational skills which are essential in solving various industrial and organizational issues. BBA degree is a gateway for aspirant students to attain employment as well as to provide opportunities for higher studies like MBA, M Com, ICWA, CA etc.
